Holiday Gift Giving For RVers

The Good Life

You’ve met a million people this year; it comes with the territory of RVing with new people all the time. And it’s one of the reasons you became an RVer! But now the holidays are rolling up and you’re left wondering how to send good cheer to your new pals? What do you send someone that lives in a small space, but still lets them know you’re thinking of them. Without burdening them with something to tote around or throw out. These holiday ideas for your friends and their rigs are just what you need to get in the spirit of the season.

For the Foodies

Who doesn’t love eating? Everyone gathered ‘round the table for a hearty meal of mama’s cooking or daddy’s grilling? It just doesn’t get better than that! Send your RV buddies the most recent releases of the best cooking, grilling and smoking recipes around. Some of these are even available in a Kindle edition, meaning there’s absolutely no storage space needed…aside from their device. If you’re feeling creative, you could even share the love by putting together your own book of family favorites. Friends don’t let friends eat bad food. Make sure they’ve got great recipes at their fingertips. (And heckle ‘em good when you catch them eating hot dogs for the third night in a row.)

For Fur-Ever Friends

If your new buds have a furry companion they like to bring along with them, consider spoiling Ol’ Yeller this season. Pets are pretty much children anyway, right? Everyone likes it when their little buddies are thought of around this time of year. Things like pet beds, portable food and water dishes or coats and boots (if they’re into the sort of thing) for colder climates are great options. Just make sure they’re collapsible or easily stored without being too cumbersome. If Fido is as active as his owners, you can also consider fun toys, life jackets and cooling mats for (hopefully soon) warmer summer days. Don’t let man’s best friend fall behind the pack this Christmas!  Keep your buddy moving safely and in style.

For the Road Tripperz

Ok, ok, so you probably can’t afford to send your new pals on a fantastic getaway, but you can give them the next best thing! If there’s a trip that you and your family really liked or if your friends are into exploring a certain corner of the world, you can get them a guide for all the sightsthat they HAVE to see. Don’t let them wander around the best views! Show them right where they are with one of these travel guides. These are available in a Kindle version, so no storage space needed. A great experience that hits the highlights without the hassle? Sounds like a great gift to us!

For the Gamers

If your friends are into yard games and have a little room for storage, you can consider getting them a new game to make memories with. Make sure they’re great family or group games so their new neighbors can get in on the fun too! Some of these, like cornhole and ladderball collapse for easy storage. Others, like croquet and bocce ball are fairly compact and easy to store. Wherever they go, know that they’ll be enjoying your gift and making new friends in the process.

We’ll just say it. Shopping for the holidays is hard! You never know what to get the people on your list and everyone has a style uniquely their own. These no-fail gifts are sure to please all around and will be used by your RVing pals without taking up valuable space in their rig. Spread some cheer this holiday season and send some love their way. It’s sure to make their Good Life holiday.
